Our upholstery cleaning process uses hot water extraction to thoroughly clean delicate upholstery fibers without over-wetting your furniture. Our products and the temperature we clean at are tailored for your particular fiber. We always test upholstery in an inconspicuous area for color-fastness before starting the cleaning process to ensure the fiber will respond appropriately to the cleaning process.
We clean couches, loveseats, ottomans, chairs, upholstered headboards, mattresses, and everything in between, made from synthetic fibers such as polyester, nylon, etc., and natural fibers such as cotton and linen!
OUR UPHOLSTERY CLEANING PROCESS
Our friendly staff arrive on time, ready to get to work on your cleaning project.
A complete pre-inspection is performed to determine any unique considerations necessary to get your upholstery looking its best.
A sample of the fiber is tested to verify the fiber type. Our cleaning engineer will create a custom cleaning process tailored to the particular fiber to be cleaned.
Special equipment is placed around the cleaning area to protect walls, floors, and furniture.
All spots and stains are identified and pre-treated with appropriate spotters.
A general pre-conditioner is applied to areas being cleaned to break down and dissolve soils for easy removal.
Areas to be cleaned are pre-groomed using one of our professional agitation tools to further loosen soil. (As needed.)
The area to be cleaned is thoroughly rinsed using our state-of-the-art truck mounted hot water extraction method. Pressure and heat are regulated to prevent the risk over wetting. Everything that we clean is pH balanced, so that no sticky residue is left behind, ensuring that your furniture is left soft and fresh. Note: A low heat or dry cleaning process may be utilized for some delicate fibers.
If any spots are not removed during the cleaning process, specialty spotting techniques are employed. (Potential permanent stains, as identified by the cleaning engineer, may not be removed.)
